Matt Biegała is a psychologist with many years of experience gained at an international psychological counseling center in Hong Kong. He specializes in individual sessions and well-being workshops for B2B and B2C clients. Matt combines Western, Holistic and Far Eastern approaches. His many years of life in various cultures and philosophies gave him a broader understanding of human mechanisms and their impact on our health. He is currently undergoing a 2.5-year mindfulness (MBCT) teacher training course, certified by the University of Oxford. Matt works with CBT, positive psychology, NLP, SMART Recovery and holistic approaches. He is also the founder of the “CASMATI Village” – the International Inspiration Center, located 55 km from Warsaw at the Kampinoski National Park.

He has broad experience in different settings from psychiatric and rehab units (Poland), Care Centres (London), educational Centres (Beijing, China), counselling clinic (HK), schools (HK, PL) and companies (HK, PL).

Mindfulness

Mindfulness practice is an important part of Matt’s daily practice and professional work. He combines Buddhist Mindfulness philosophy and Western Scientific approach to Mindfulness. He is currently on 2.5 year long teacher’s course: Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), organised by University of Oxford. Also attended 8-week MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) course and learnt from buddhist monks (Thik Nahn Hahn, Gen Kelsang Rabten).

Matt uses mindfulness to teach:
